Somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, in a mysterious and surreal in-between zone, the lives of several characters intersect in surprising and mysterious ways. Elementary school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in winter ice and try to recover it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly confused group of tourists around Winnipeg’s landmarks and historical sites. Matthew leaves his meaningless job in a Quebec government office and embarks on a mysterious journey to find his mother. Space, time, and personal identities intertwine, intersect, and echo in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
